Bergin wins Blue Ribbon at Fair

DEL MAR – Fallbrook resident Karen Bergin, owner of Bergin’s Jewelry, has won a Blue Ribbon for a pendant she designed, made and entered in the wire wrapping competition displayed inside the Gem and Mineral Pavilion at this year’s San Diego County Fair.

Bergin’s entry, entitled “Queen’s Talisman” is a brilliant double point amethyst, hand wrapped with 14 karat gold filled wire and hung on a gold filled chain accented with small amethyst beads.
