Country performers to headline at South Coast Winery's artists' showcase

TEMECULA - Enjoy a beautiful evening under the stars with “hot” country rock performers Cherish Lee and Tim Foust who will perform at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa’s picturesque Vintner’s Garden on Friday, July 15th at 7:30 pm in Temecula. Singer, songwriter, performer and actress Cherish Lee is the daughter of actress Charlene Tilton (“Dallas”) and country legend Johnny Lee who was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. The native Californian is currently writing and recording a solo country-rock album and is looking forward to performing her rendition of her dad’s hit song “Lookin’ for Love” from the hit motion picture “Urban Cowboy” at the concert.

Cherish started singing at the age of 5 when she performed with superstar Michael Jackson on his “BAD” tour. She studied musical theater while going on the road with her father, and has performed with several bands throughout Los Angeles. She recently spent 8 months out of town performing with her band “Charlie.” Cherish is also an accomplished actress and her credits include: “Wilde Salome” playing opposite Al Pacino, “American History X” playing opposite Edward Norton and Edward Furlong, “The Salon” with Vivica A. Fox, Terrance Howard and Brooke Burns, etc.

Tim Foust is an accomplished singer with a near-five-octave range and songwriting is his passion. Foust was born in Lubbock, Texas and had a penchant for singing and songwriting since he was a young boy. He performed and studied classical music extensively in high school and joined an a capella group called “Blue Jupiter” out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The group toured throughout the United States and released an album “Ear Candy” to critical acclaim. The album included Tim Foust’s first recorded original song.

Tim left BLUE JUPITER and joined a Boston based group of performers “Ball In The House.” Tim performed over 250 shows per year with the group, and shared the stage with legendary performers Gladys Knight and Kenny Loggins. Tim has appeared as a guest soloist with America’s premiere doo wop group, “The Alley Cats.” He is currently recording his debut solo album.
