Gen. Zinni gives lessons learned from storied career to Pendleton Marines

Retired Gen. Anthony Charles Zinni speaks to a group of Marine staff non-commissioned officers and officers at the base theater, June14. Zinni retired after 35 years of service and currently is an instructor at the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University, a public speaker, and an author of two best-selling books on his military career and foreign affairs. Zinni addressed Marines in regards to his experience in Vietnam; the training he went through, lessons learned, techniques for building rapport, keys to being a successful advisor, suggested training and any other knowlege he gained from his storied history in politics, military affairs and serving as an advisor to international relations.
