Stehly elected president of farm bureau

ESCONDIDO – The San Diego County Farm Bureau board of directors recently elected Noel Stehly president of the organization. Stehly accepted the gavel from Michael Anthony Mellano of Mellano and Company, who had served as the county’s farm bureau president since 2009.

Stehly is the owner and operator of Stehly Farms Organics in Valley Center where he has 200 acres in farm production. He produces a variety of certified organic fruits and vegetables including citrus, avocados, blueberries, blackberries and tomatoes from his farm.
