FALLBROOK - Brandon Gallery's July paint-in is dedicated to helping a local chapter of Habitat for Humanity develop miniature pieces of art for a year-end promotion, Noreen Ring, the gallery's director, announced today.
Scheduled for Thursday, July 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Ring invites artists from the community to join Brandon members and paint several different artistic themes on canvases in various sizes up to five by seven. These small art pieces will be donated to Habitat for Humanity and they will use them to decorate a “raffle tree” for the 2011 holiday
season.
Brandon's paint-ins occur the second Thursday of every month throughout 2011 and are designed as outreach programs to broaden the gallery's involvement with the art community in North San Diego and Southwest Riverside counties.
