Fundraiser being held this Saturday at Pala Raceway for five-year-old boy fighting leukemia

Emotions ran high when the news that 5 year-old Daleigh Ford had been diagnosed with leukemia reached the ears of his mother, Ruth Ford, and her boyfriend, Michael Corlee. Daleigh (called Day by family and friends) is a lively little boy who enjoyed camping, off-roading with his mom, and exploring all aspects of life.

A couple of weeks prior to his diagnosis however, his energy began to slowly fade and he began eating less, running fevers, and losing his healthy color.

He was taken to his doctor where anemia or an auto-immune disease was considered to be the cause of his diminishing health. Bl...
