Porter to speak to Democratic Club

FALLBROOK – On Thursday, July 7, at 7 p.m., Jill S. Porter, PhD, will speak to the Fallbrook Democratic Club at Fallbrook Public Utility District. Porter, an elementary school teacher and author who specializes in educational leadership and peace education, implemented peace-education strategies to promote unity within diversity and cultural awareness within a diverse student population.

Porter is a recipient of the Crystal Apple and Saraswati awards for excellence in teaching. She is also the director of the non-profit organization The Teddy Bear Brigade....
