County 4-H Horse Show comes to Fallbrook

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Riders Inc. will host a countywide 4–H Horse Show at Fallbrook Riders Field on Sunday, July 17.

Fallbrook 4-H equine project leader Robin Dixon said the competition will include both gymkhana and horsemanship classes.

The Fallbrook 4-H group is fresh from an extremely successful competition at the San Diego County Fair where their three riders won nine first place and five second place ribbons. Points earned at the county fair and at the Fallbrook show will count toward county year-end awards.

Fallbrook Riders Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1950 that maintains Fallbrook Riders Field and has been home to Fallbrook Pony Club since 1979, and more recently Grange Equestrian Fair team, and Fallbrook Silver Spurs. Spectators are always welcome and admission for spectators is free.

Membership in Fallbrook Riders is available to local residents and information can be found at
