Forensic scientist to speak at library

FALLBROOK – Forensic entomologist David Faulkner will be the guest speaker at the July 14 installment of the summer lecture series hosted by Fallbrook Library.

Faulkner’s experience includes being involved in over 450 death investigations in Southern California and being affiliated with the San Diego Natural History Museum’s insect collection. Faulkner has appeared on numerous television shows and played a pivotal role in the David Westerfield murder trial of 2002.

This entertaining speaker is popular with both mystery writers’ groups and anyone who is interested in true crime scene investigation. Warning: This lecture contains graphic pictures and is not for the faint-hearted. Not recommended for young children.

The lecture will begin at 6 p.m., is free of charge, and open to the public at 124 South Mission Road. Questions may be directed to library staff at (760) 731-4650.
