VISTA - A celebration of pioneer heritage will take place on Saturday, July 23 from 4 to 8 p.m., with food, music, games, and fun for young and old. The Vista Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is inviting its members and the public to join together in an afternoon of festivities honoring the Mormon pioneers that settled the West.
Old-fashioned fun in the form of square-dancing, making homemade ice cream, root beer, cobblers, popcorn, and butter, as well as pie-making and pie-eating contests are only part of the activities planned for the day.
