Fallbrook FroYo is now open for business

FALLBROOK – A brand new frozen yogurt shop is now open in Fallbrook at 127 East Mission Road (near Manor Cleaners). Fallbrook Fro Yo is the first self-serve operation of its type in the community.

With more than 14 flavors and over 40 toppings, customers can find and create their favorite frozen yogurt.

Self-serve frozen yogurt is exactly as it sounds. The customer begins by taking a cup, filling it with their favorite flavor of Fro Yo, and adding as many toppings as they would like. The finished dessert is then taken to the check-out counter, weighed, and

paid for.

Local residents Sam and Charlotte Durick said they “fell in love with the tasty treat, the town, and each other almost simultaneously.” The newly married couple saw a need for a self-serve frozen yogurt in the Avocado Capital of the World, they said, and have endeavored to create a place where people can come in, sit down, and truly savor their frozen yogurt creations. With comfortable couches, free Wi-Fi, and a wide-screen television, it is sure to be a popular spot.

Fallbrook FroYo is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.

“With a rotation of over 50 flavors, it will keep even the most adventurous palates on a quest for a new favorite,” said the Duricks. “We have everything from Italian Tart to Cake Batter to Avocado; yes, Avocado, and its amazing!”

The Duricks said their selection of frozen yogurt includes non-fat and no sugar added varieties, “without sacrificing taste.”
