Fallbrook teen Conrad Murphy, who was critically injured in a head-on collision April 23 on State Route 76, came home Saturday, July 9, after spending 11 weeks in the Palomar Hospital trauma unit and affiliated rehabilitation center. Murphy sustained life-threatening injuries including a broken neck and pelvis, punctured lung, and severe trauma to the brain when the driver of a pest control truck lost control of the vehicle and traveled over into Murphy’s lane. The teen was in a coma for a full month after the accident.
