Suspect in Alleged Rape at Deputy's House Released from Jail

MURRIETA - Riverside County prosecutors today were reviewing allegations that a Murrieta man sexually assaulted a woman in the home of a San Diego County sheriff's deputy, who was arrested for allegedly obstructing the investigation.

Matthew Joseph Frembling, 34, of Murrieta was arrested Sunday night on suspicion of forcible rape and sexual penetration with a foreign object after a 26-year-old woman accused of him attacking her in a house at 32996 Poppy St. in Temecula.
