Colburn serves on Don Diego Scholarship Fund Board; presents scholarship winners at Doobie Brothers concert

When Ashley Colburn was a Fallbrook High School senior in 2005, she was a recipient of the San Diego County Fair’s Don Diego Scholarship. Six years later, Colburn served on the Don Diego Scholarship Fund Board and introduced the recipients of this year’s four $5,000 scholarships in front of the crowd assembled for the fair’s June 21 Doobie Brothers concert.

“I was absolutely blown away with the recipients this year,” Colburn said. “They were all really, really qualified.”
