FALLBROOK - Fallbrook Connections Networking group will continue its Hot Summer Nites Series with Taste of Fallbrook on Friday, July 29. The Taste of Fallbrook is an opportunity for ticket holders ($15 each) to sample fare from a variety of local restaurants and chefs.
This family-friendly event will be held in downtown Fallbrook on Main Avenue from 5 p.m. to sundown.
“This year we have several local restaurants and chefs vying to win and have added a new category – best dessert,” said Connections member Sandra Buckingham. “There are several new entrants this year and because of the addition of desserts, a wide variety of tastes.”
“We are excited to announce that our celebrity judge for this year is Freddy Keiaho, linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts, who also played for San Diego State University,” said Buckingham.
The popular band Aunt Kizzy’z Boyz, will return to entertain at the Taste of Fallbrook in the Village Square where adults can enjoy beer and wine.
A children’s activity area will be offered and vendors will be selling food and snack items for those who don’t want to participate in the Taste of Fallbrook portion of the event.
Vintage and classic cars, a tradition at Hot Summer Nites, will be available for viewing along Main, south of Alvarado St.
Main Ave. will be closed from Fig to Ivy at 4.30 p.m. Parking is available behind the Fallbrook Art Center and on side streets. Pets, skateboards and bicycles are not permitted at this event.
