BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA – Fallbrook residents Andrew Dong Lee and Jack Alperstein have lent their support this summer to helping victims of the violent tornadoes experienced earlier this year in Alabama.
Lee and Alperstein are two of 44 young men and women volunteers with the National Relief Network that have been working in Alabama neighborhoods where assistance is needed.
“We have helped clear debris and tear down damaged houses that will need to be reconstructed,” said Lee. “The temperature here has been very warm and the humidity high, but we really want to help these families. We are finding this to be a life-changing experience.”
