Free live concert at Fallbrook Library

FALLBROOK – The Friends of the Fallbrook Library announce a free concert performance by Border Radio on Saturday, July 23 at 7 p.m. in the Fallbrook Library Community Room.

Border Radio takes its name from the early border blasters who played music just for folks, artists like Jimmie Rodgers, the Carter Family and Bob Wills. The band plays their own version of that old style, music one hasn’t heard before but recognizes, songs that are relevant and about something even if it’s the story of a dust bowl wife or a dangerous block of Los Angeles.
