Nine local groups given TOT funds

Nine community groups in the Fallbrook area received Community Enhancement funding from the County of San Diego’s Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) for Fiscal Year 2011-12.

The June 28 passage of the County of San Diego’s 2011-12 budget included the allocation of Community Enhancement funds. Each county supervisor has a $500,000 Community Enhancement budget and made recommendations on how much of his or her budget to give to each group requesting funds.
