Hailey Drew named to all-CIF second team in softball

Fallbrook High School freshman Hailey Drew was selected to the all-CIF second team for softball.

A panel of media members and coaches selected the all-CIF first and second teams during a May 31 meeting. Drew was the only freshman on either the first team or the second team.

Drew is a shortstop, as is CIF San Diego Section softball player of the year Haley Steele. “The kid who plays her position is all-CIF player of the year, so that’s not bad company to be in,” said Fallbrook co-coach Shannon Koran.
