Car club to present screening of "Tucker: The Man and His Dream" on Aug. 4

FALLBROOK – On August 4 at 6 p.m., the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club will present a special screening of the motion picture "Tucker: The Man and His Dream" at the Fallbrook Library in the community room.

This two hour film stars Jeff Bridges with Joan Allen and Martin Landau, and is directed by Francis Ford Coppola. It is the story of Preston Tucker, the maverick car designer and his ill-fated challenge to the auto industry with his revolutionary car concept.

After the film, the grandson of Preston Tucker, Noble Tucker, is scheduled as a special guest to answer questions. There is no charge and the event is open to the public. Fallbrook Library is located at 124 S. Mission Road. For more information, call (760) 723-1181 or email [email protected].
