Jacob Marvin "Marv" Van Voorst

Jacob Marvin “Marv” Van Voorst passed away on July 22, 2011, with his family by his side. Born Dec. 6, 1935, in Iowa, Marv moved to California after joining the Navy. He married his high school sweetheart, Joyce, in 1958 and moved to Fallbrook in 1971 with his family. Marv was an avid fisherman, a classic car enthusiast and he loved to travel with Joyce. Marv’s kind, generous and gentle spirit made him friends with many and he will be greatly missed.
