Parkinson's support group to meet Aug. 10

VISTA – The guest speaker for the Aug. 10 meeting of North County Parkinson’s Support Group will be Debra Lobatz, MFT, who will discuss “Living with the Challenges of Parkinson’s Disease.” Lobatz is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a Master’s degree in counseling psychology. Her focus is on helping individuals and families struggling with caring for loved ones with dementia or chronic illness. She has also agreed to attend the group’s Care and Share time.

The free meeting is from 10 a.m. to noon at Gloria McClellan Senior Center, Brengle Terrace Park, 1400 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista, 92084. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call June Brunson at (760) 940-2763.
