There is a wave of creative thinking about the future of gardening and interwoven lifestyles, and it is called permaculture.

The original idea for permaculture came from Australia in the late 70s when two naturalists out in the Tasmanian forests were inspired by the interconnectedness of the rich and abundant ecosystems they observed.

They saw nature and the indigenous cultures working in harmony and hoped that the principles could be applied to sound ecological, productive landscapes throughout the world.
