Burn on Camp Pendleton scheduled for Friday

CAMP PENDLETON - The Camp Pendleton Fire Department has announced it has scheduled a fire hazard reduction burn for Friday, July 29 in the base's 43 Area.

The 43 Area is located in the central part of the base.

Residents of surrounding communities and drivers on Interstate 5 may notice smoke clouds or smell smoke during the burn....
