Gang sweep nets 16 Fallbrook residents

Sixteen arrests were made throughout Fallbrook as law enforcement personnel scoured the streets in a proactive gang sweep on July 16.

According to Fallbrook Sheriff substation commander Lt. Robert Haley, officers from the Vista and San Marcos patrol joined the North County Gang Task Force, Escondido Police Department, social services representatives and local officers in visiting houses with gang members on probation or parole.
