I’ve been incredulously following the fight in the legislature between no-tax-increase and pro-tax-increase legislators. A few days ago, I heard that Governor Brown’s proposed one percent increase in sales tax and extension of vehicle surcharges were not approved.
I think that many essential services and projects, which benefit all, are now not adequately funded. I think that increased taxes are the most fair and efficient way to fund these services.
