Tantalizing "Taste of Fallbrook" pleases palates

When the best chefs in Fallbrook try to outdo each other – watch out – it becomes a fierce battle of the taste buds each summer at the “Taste of Fallbrook.” Although this is a competition with prizes awarded, everyone who samples the creative fare is a winner.

Quite a few people love La Caseta’s “Pork Tacos” as evidenced by the Mexican restaurant’s selection as the “Best Taste of Fallbrook” this year. The tacos were overflowing with marinated pork, guacamole and pickled onions. A zesty mango salsa added just the zip to wrap the entire concoction in a tasty package.
