NCFPD board appeals to Governor regarding state fire fee

The members of the board of directors of the North County Fire Protection District (NCFPD) have unanimously opposed the state’s recently enacted $150 fire prevention fee for structures located in rural areas and sent a letter Aug. 15 to Governor Jerry Brown underscoring their position.
