FALLBROOK – Now in its 18th year of funding worthy projects that benefit local children, Rally for Children has announced it will accept applications for grant funds through Sept. 31. Applicants must have a 501c tax identification number and mail their request to Rally for Children, P.O. Box 2575, Fallbrook, Calif. 92088-2575.
The organization has also announced it will hold its annual fundraiser, which provides the funds for grants, this year on Oct. 19 at Vista Valley Country Club. The event will includes a variety of rock and pop music and Cher impersonator Laura Steele. Vintage fashion and classic cars will also be featured. Rally for Children’s largest event of the year is Arts in the Park, a free event it provides with co-sponsor Fallbrook Union Elementary School District. The day of art exploration is provided free for local children and their families at Live Oak Park. Cost of the event is approximately $10,000.
