The "Drunken Protestor" responds

I arrived early to the Democratic Club meeting; was enjoying coffee with other members.

When the Pledge was finished, I stated that as long as the U.S. government was committing “evil” in the name of our flag and killing innocents, I would not give my allegiance to it.

Angry words were exchanged.

As I exited, four men grabbed me from behind and I was thrown to the lobby floor. They placed their feet on my limbs and neck to restrain me. I experienced pain swallowing for several days.
