Concrete comes from quarries

There is not one square foot of concrete in all of North County that didn’t get its source of sand and rock from a quarry of some kind. That is true worldwide and as a resident since 1942, I watched, read and listened to NIMBY complain about Mission Valley mining, Pacific Highway widening, I-15 building and “improving” Old 395.
