The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1924 and its Ladies Auxiliary have announced they will host a fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 10 as part of their continuing effort to have a flagpole installed at the new Fallbrook Library.
Ladies Auxiliary President Anne Richter said the event will feature an Italian dinner.
“Trish Harrison has volunteered to make her famous Spaghetti Bake, which consists of three meats and five cheeses,” said Richter. “It is delicious. Salad and dessert will be included with the dinner.”
The event will begin at 5 p.m. at 1175 Old Stage Road. Cost is $10 per person with all proceeds going to the library flagpole project.
Richter encourages those who cannot attend the dinner to make a donation at the VFW towards the project.
“Let’s get a flag flying at our library as soon as possible,” said Richter.
