Experience likely to benefit Warrior cross-country girls

Four of the seven Fallbrook High School girls who ran at last year’s CIF San Diego Section cross-country meet are returning to the 2011 team. That gives Fallbrook head coach Troy Hamlin experience he didn’t have last season.

“I think we can make a run at the league title,” Hamlin said.

The first day of practice was Aug. 22. A total of 25 girls, including some slated for the junior varsity squad, participated in a three-mile time trial Aug. 24.
