LAKE ELSINORE - A Hemet woman allegedly robbed a gas station in Lake Elsinore with a weapon -- a toy gun -- hidden in her shirt, and was found at a nearby bus stop with the prop, a sheriff's department spokesman said today.
At 6:49 p.m. Friday, deputies went to a Chevron station in the 31600 block of Mission Trail, near Diamond Drive. The clerk said a woman had entered the store, walked to the register with merchandise, showed a gun under her shirt and left the store with the merchandise, according to sheriff's Sgt. John Carlberg.
