Home Invasion Robber Hurts Elderly Woman and Caretaker

NUEVO - A 93-year-old woman was pistol-whipped by a hooded man who broke into her home in a rural area east of Perris, knocked out her caretaker, tied her up and stole her property and car, deputies said today.

The man stole a car, abandoned it nearby, and was being sought today.

Deputies were called at 10:10 p.m. Friday to a residence in the 31000 block of Nuevo Road in Nuevo, according to a sheriff's department report.
