James Herbert Caldwell

James Herbert Caldwell passed away Sept. 3, 2011 in Boulder, Colo. on the 71st anniversary of his marriage to Lucille Cooper Caldwell who preceded him in eternal rest. He is survived by his three children, Ann Blakely of Ridgway, Colo.; James Caldwell Jr. of Sonoma, Calif.; and Christine Caldwell of Boulder, Colo.; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Jim was born Aug. 11, 1911 in Ravenna, Ohio prior to World War I, graduated from Ohio State University as a mechanical engineer during the Great Depression, and served his country designing, manufacturi...
