PALA - as part of its Planet Pala environmental program, Pala Casino Spa & Resort today became the first casino in San Diego County to provide Electrical Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) to the owners of electric cars.
Two BLINK charging systems were unveiled this morning on the first level of Pala's West parking garage by Pala Chief Executive Officer Bill Bembenek and Andrew Hoskinson, area manager of ECOTality, Inc. for San Diego.
Hoskinson drove his 2011 Nissan Leaf to the casino and demonstrated the system by re-charging the car's batteries for the return trip to San Diego.
