Carl A. Rohde

Carl A. Rohde left us late on the afternoon of Friday, Sept. 16, 2011. He had been a Fallbrook resident since the mid 1990s, when he moved here to be closer to his son Steve and his family.

Carl was born to Edward and Ursula Rohde in Indianapolis, Ind. on March 15, 1925. He lived in Indianapolis until joining the US Army Air Corps about halfway through WWII. Carl served as a B-29 bombardier/navigator trainee until the conclusion of the war.
