FALLBROOK “ Brancheïˆ Marie Foston, Fallbrook Union High School's 2007 ASB President and graduate, has received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, with a minor in the music industry from USC's Thornton School of Music.
Foston had the distinction of being named to USC's œOrder of the Torch, one of the university's most prestigious accolades, with lifelong membership. It is awarded annually to only 12 seniors who exemplify the USC Trojan ideals, excel in scholarship, leadership, service, commitment, strong public speaking skills, with an ability to communicate the USC experience to others. In this capacity, Foston is recognized as an official USC Ambassador.
Following her leadership and service efforts at Fallbrook High School, Foston actively participated in USC organizations, serving as director of alumni and public telations for USC Troy Camp (the official student run philanthropy of USC), secretary and special event chairman of the Annenberg Black Student Association, fundraising and community service chairman of the USC Sisters in Spirit (Christian fellowship) and as a member of the USC Helenes was an œOfficial Hostess of USC, supporting many community service opportunities.
She is currently applying to graduate school, with the objective to earn her Ph.D in communication. Foston is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Frederick Foston of Fallbrook, and the granddaughter of Charles and Elizabeth Cheathem, also of Fallbrook.
