Diabetes class series starts Sept. 27

FALLBROOK “ A four-part diabetes class on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon is starting Sept. 27 for anyone recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes or who has had diabetes for awhile but needs an update on self-management. Relatives and significant others are welcome to attend.

Topics include healthy diet, exercise and activity, oral medications, insulin, preventing and managing complications. The class continues on Oct. 4, 11 and 18 at First Citizens Bank in the community room, 1139 S. Mission Rd.
