The much-anticipated Fallbrook varsity football home opener versus the Rancho Bernardo Broncos on Friday, September 16, was a nail-biter. After opening the season with a loss against Mount Miguel, the Warriors were coming off an early bye week to challenge the Broncos. Although Fallbrook out-gained Rancho Bernardo in total yards, several big plays helped the Broncos to their second win of the young season, 27-26.
