Pala to host annual Fire Prevention Fair

PALA - The Pala Band of Mission Indians will hold its sixth annual Fire Prevention Fair on Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pala Fire Station. This event is free and open to the public.

Guests are invited to spend the day with the Pala Fire Department to learn more about the facility and fire safety. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the fire station and take photos on the fire engines. There will also be unique demonstrations, firefighters will extinguish a live vehicle fire and conduct a water drop from a helicopter.

The event will include information booths, children's activities, and a barbecue cooked by the firefighters as well.
