Senior Center presents a tour of Little Italy

FALLBROOK “ The Fallbrook Senior Center is offering a tour of Little Italy in San Diego with a local Italian guide on Wednesday, Nov. 16. The tour guide will be documentary filmmaker, freelance writer and storyteller Anthony Davi.

Participants will learn the story of Italian immigrants' arrival in San Diego through historical photos and hidden landmarks, visit turn of the century homes and historic grocery stores and bakeries, hear tales of the hanging tree, organized crime, prohibition and bootlegging along with a visit to a church where magnificent Venetian art is on display.
