Stephen Alan Kohrumel

Stephen Alan Kohrumel passed away Sept. 11, 2011 in Hobbs, N.M. Steve was born in Wilmington, Del. on Feb. 10, 1956, and attended school in Midland, Mich. graduating high school in 1974. Steve then married and joined the Navy to serve his country, traveling with his family to several places in the United States.

It was during this time that he fell in love with San Diego, Calif., and spent most of his life there after his time in the Navy. Steve came to Hobbs to spend time with his sister and heal from a recent surgery and while not a native of Hobbs, he marveled at the community for the warmt...
