VISTA “ The North County Parkinson's Support Group will hold a meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Gloria McClellan Senior Center, Brengle Terrace Park, 1400 Vale Terrace Dr., in Vista.

Guest speaker for the meeting will be Phyllis Slade. She will bring a puppy she is working with for Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) and demonstrate the commands she is teaching œRhonda. A discussion will take place on how service dogs are proving to be very helpful for people with Parkinson's.
