FALLBROOK - The Sept. 17 Community CleanUp/Recycling Day, sponsored by Keep Fallbrook Clean and Green, broke previous Fallbrook records. The dirt lot at the corner of Peppertree Lane and South Mission was alive with activity where more volunteers participated than ever before.
Volunteers also fanned out across the community to walk the streets and pick up litter, while three volunteers used their personal pickup trucks to collect bulky items illegally dumped along area roadways.
