Curtis William Tritchka

Curtis William Tritchka, 78, went home to the Lord Oct. 1, 2011 at home in Fallbrook, Calif. He was born Jan. 10, 1933 in Denver, Colo.

He went to Fallbrook High School and earned a B.S. degree in engineering from San Diego State College. Curt broke his neck when on an outing with fraternity brothers in Mexico. They brought him back to Mercy hospital in San Diego where he spent six months recuperating. He then went on to college, worked 15 years and retired. The town of Fallbrook had a fundraiser to help pay his medical bills, raising $10,000.
