FALLBROOK – Brandon Gallery is devoting its Studio 105 wing to a special showing of large scale plein air landscape oils in “The Hidden Spirit of Landscapes,” which opened Oct. 3. There will be a public reception at the gallery on Oct. 8 from

Patricia Sablak-Korzec’s stunning display of richly colored interpretive studies of southwestern landscapes employs bold and purposeful brushstrokes to capture the spirit of the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Santa Fe. Her personal view of these three high desert locations goes beyond the ordinary to portray the essence of each place to depict the unique patterns and textures from sunlight.
Brandon Gallery is located at 105 N. Main, one door off Alvarado St. A division of Fallbrook Arts, Inc., the gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 11a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, go to
