FALLBROOK – Fallbrook’s Solar Program is an innovative program that allows Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow residents to go solar for no upfront cost and receive substantial cash-back awards for their involvement. Last week, the program reached its first milestone of 60,000W of solar committed to be installed, guaranteeing all participants five percent cash back. With less than two weeks left in the program, residents are able to receive up to ten percent cash-back incentives.
Locally headquartered solar provider, Sullivan Solar Power, championed the program to inspire residents to declare energy independence and make a longstanding impact on the community by reducing their carbon footprint. Founder and CEO, Daniel Sullivan, has a vision of creating a strong solar community out of Fallbrook by offering incentives twice that of the current California state rebate to all residential and commercial properties with the Fallbrook Solar Program.
Fallbrook resident Lita O’Day was the first resident to sign up for the program. She is going solar to hedge against high utility bills and avoid the burning of fossil fuels. After making the decision to participate in the community program, O’Day said, “Solar is the way to go, I am shocked that more people haven’t gone solar already. It is such a wise investment.”
The community solar program provides incentives for Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow residents to declare their energy independence and encourage their neighbors, groups and friends to do the same by going solar. The more people who sign up, the greater the cash incentives will be.
