FALLBROOK – On August 15, Salon One, located at 128 N. Main, was the venue for a breast cancer awareness event. The salon was surrounded in pink balloons. Robyn McHone, owner and operator of the salon, offered her location for the event.
Margie Marques, a Fallbrook resident, was the honoree. Marques has been struggling with cancer since her diagnosis in February. There were 45 friends and family in attendance to provide encouragement. Because of the results of chemotherapy, Marques needed a new hairstyle.
